Subiaco Museum Exhibition
Challenge:
The City of Subiaco and the Subiaco Museum commissioned an identity for the "Lustrous Bodies" exhibition, a showcase of historic fashion from Subiaco’s past. The exhibition featured an array of heritage garments alongside beautiful, rare pieces from the renowned Linneys Jewellery. The Museum required a series of high-impact posters designed for prominent display in physical bus shelters and across various digital platforms.
Outcome:
This resulted in two posters designed to bridged the gap between the museum's traditional heritage and a younger 18–25 audience, creating a fresh visual narrative that stood out in high-traffic urban environments.
Agency Collaboration.
During my time as an intern at Kool Kreative, I had the incredible opportunity to collaborate with their senior creative team and the City of Subiaco on the 2018/2019 Lustrous Bodies campaign.
My Role.
My specific brief was to design two of the key posters for the exhibition. I focused on creating layouts that would be equally effective as large-scale physical prints in bus shelters and as eye-catching assets for the museum’s online platforms. This project was a pivotal experience in learning how to design for local government and public-facing cultural institutions.
